Given the general unpredictability of answers, callers resort to using multiple lines per agent employing dialing strategies known as predictive dialing and power dialing. Predictive dialing utilizes a pacing algorithm that factors agent availability, average call times, and answer rates in an attempt to maximize agent talk time with the lowest possible abandonment rate. Despite clever pacing, agents are inevitably unavailable for all answers and abandonment occurs. Power dialing maximizes agent talk time by continuously dialing all available lines. This results in astronomical abandonment rates.

Woke me up at dawn here in Seattle, though I saw it was a Rhode Island phone number and didn't pick up. Once I got ready for work a few hours later, I called it and received a really nasty woman from Fidelity Investments saying that there is no such thing as a "no call" list for them because only their Financial Advisors do the calling. We have never had anything to do with Fidelity and have owned our phone number (cell in this case) for nine years. Woman was incredibly rude.

calls and says they work for a lawyer and then tell you that you have too be in court the next day or they will be at your work,there reson found the call is they are saying u took a loan online and never paid back (false) and they want ur bank info so they can settle out of court.and every time i call back the same person has a diffrent name..i already notified the fbi....

Has called me 2 times this morning, and DOES not leave a message. Found no information on "who" this is, but internet shows it to be a wireless number out of Houston TX, I blocked my number and called it back, no answer, and their mail box was full. They should get a life!

It sounds like an Indian guy at the end of the line. It seems like a telemarketing call. Don't pick up. Got 10 calls and 4 calls. I pick up the phone and threaten to report them to an government agency. It appears they have stopped. We will see tomorrow.
